The Roswell North Elementary Foundation is a parent-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2009. We raise funds to support programs, teachers, and spaces at Roswell North Elementary that go beyond what district funding provides.

No — the RNE Foundation is a separate nonprofit from both the school and the PTA. We work closely with both but operate independently. The Foundation focuses on funding specific programs and capital improvements, while the PTA supports day-to-day school activities.

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees made up of RNE parents and community members. The board meets regularly to oversee finances, programming, and strategic direction. Meet our 2026–2027 board →

100% of funds raised go directly to student programs — including the full-time science lab teacher (Mrs. Rains), the Licata Science Lab, RNE Garden, Farm to Table Program, The Bear Den, and future initiatives. We are entirely volunteer-run with no paid staff.

You can donate directly through our website using the Donate button at the top of any page, or visit our Givebutter donation page. We accept one-time and recurring donations.

Yes! The RNE Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt after your donation, and you can request an official tax receipt by emailing us.

Many employers match charitable donations — meaning your gift could be worth twice as much at no extra cost to you! Check with your HR department or visit our Corporate Giving page to learn more and request a tax receipt for matching purposes.

Yes — you can add a note to your donation specifying which program you'd like to support (e.g. "for the science lab" or "for the garden"). Email us at rnefoundation@gmail.com if you'd like to discuss a dedicated gift.

The birthday sign program lets you reserve a spot on the RNE school marquee to celebrate your child's birthday — so everyone arriving at and passing the school sees their name on their special day!

Visit our Birthday Sign Reservations page to reserve your spot. Reservations open August 1st each school year. Submit by the 15th of the month prior to your child's birthday.

Golden Bear level PTA memberships include one free birthday sign, handled directly by the PTA. Contact the PTA for details — you do not need to reserve through the Foundation website.
