Our community events run entirely on volunteer power. Whether you can give a few hours at the Golf Classic or help set up for Family Fun Night — every hand makes a difference for our Bears.
What You Need to Know
- ⚠️All volunteers must be registered with Fulton County Schools before volunteering at any event
- 📋Registration is free and takes about 10 minutes online
- 🎓Mandatory Child Abuse Prevention training required (virtual, ~30 min)
- ✅Registration is valid for 2 calendar years
- 🐻Once registered, sign up for Foundation events through our volunteer contact
⏱ New as of Jan 1, 2024: All volunteer training must be re-applied for. New training remains valid for 2 calendar years from completion.
Register with Fulton County Schools
Before you can volunteer at any RNE Foundation event, Fulton County Schools requires all volunteers to complete registration and training. This is a district-wide policy — not just for the Foundation.
How to Register as a Fulton County Volunteer
It's free, takes about 30–45 minutes, and is valid for 2 years. Complete all three steps before attending any event:
- 1Visit the Fulton County Volunteer Registration website and fill out the volunteer information form with your personal details.
- 2Complete the Mandatory Child Abuse Prevention Virtual Training — this is required for all school volunteers and takes approximately 30 minutes online.
- 3Visit the school, scan your ID, and begin volunteering. Your registration will be verified on-site when you check in.
As of January 1, 2024, all volunteer training must be re-applied for. New training remains valid for 2 calendar years.

Golf & Pickleball Classic
Help run one of our most popular fundraisers — from check-in and registration to on-course support, scoring, and the post-game reception.
Family Fun Night
Our beloved community night needs all hands on deck — running game stations, managing food service, helping with setup and breakdown, and welcoming families.
Spring Soiree & Auction
Our signature gala needs experienced volunteers for guest check-in, auction support, table hosting, and keeping the evening running smoothly.
Science Night
Help Mrs. Rains bring science to life for our students and families. Assist with experiment stations, student demonstrations, and the garden walk.
